Shit has just gone down…

What are your views? Personally I respect what they’re trying to do for the ‘people’ but is this really gonna help when it comes to the government deciding whether the SOPA Act should be put in place? We’ve spent all this time doing non-invasive protests which got us noticed, with the help of globally known websites such as Facebook and Wikipedia, and then Anonymous come along and take down the FBI’s website…

I’ve got a feeling congressman are just going to be using this as a way to backup their reasons for putting a stop to piracy on the internet.

Reblog this as it’d be interesting to see everyone’s view.

You know, as much as I don’t think vigilantism will do any good, I can really understand Anonymous’ angle.

I respect that they’re taking a stand and encouraging others to do the same. Also, the fact that they represent no one group or person and speak for a vast number of normal people makes them different from other anti-establishment groups in my eyes.

Anonymous may be overdramatic, overzealous and sometimes overreactive, but, as much as some people may not like it, they are one of the biggest voices for the people and I happen to think that at the core they do have the right values in mind.

Plus, they have the methods to follow up on their words.
